Express Entry
Express Entry is not an immigration program. It is an online selection system used by the Canadian government for certain popular Canadian immigration categories. The express entry process is entirely electronic and processes 80% of applications in 6 months or less.
Application Process
- Complete Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA) from a Canadian designated evaluation body like WES.
- Write a language test IELTS or TEF to ensure their linguistic skills in either French or English, respectively.
- Create an online profile (GC KEY) that is valid for 1 year.
- After the profile check, the Canadian government ranks the candidates based on Comprehensive ranking score (CRS) and sends out Invitation to Apply (ITA).
